Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

By booking a tour or any travel-related service with Morocco Desert Friends (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These conditions form the basis of your contract and apply to all bookings, whether made online, by email, or through our partners.

2. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive your deposit or written confirmation. We will then issue a booking summary that includes key details such as itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, and payment schedule.

  • A deposit may be required to secure selected tours or accommodations.
  • Some services, especially during high seasons, require early confirmation.
  • By confirming your booking, you guarantee that all provided information is accurate.

3. Payment Terms

Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or other methods we specify. Full payment is normally required before the start of your tour unless stated otherwise.

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable unless we cannot deliver the service.
  • Outstanding balances must be paid by the date mentioned in your confirmation email.

4. Cancellations by You

If you cancel your booking, the following policies apply unless otherwise stated in your itinerary:

  • Cancellation received more than 15 days before the start: partial refund (minus non-refundable deposits).
  • Cancellation between 7 and 14 days: up to 50% refund depending on supplier fees.
  • Cancellations less than 7 days before the tour or no-show: no refund.

Some hotels, desert camps, and flight tickets have strict cancellation policies. We will always inform you in advance.

5. Cancellations by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or modify a tour in case of unforeseen circumstances such as unsafe weather, road closures, or supplier issues. In such cases, we will offer:

  • An alternative date or itinerary, or
  • A full refund if no suitable alternative is available.

6. Changes to Your Itinerary

Minor changes may occur due to local conditions, safety, or logistical reasons. We always strive to maintain the quality and core experience of your tour. If major changes are required, we will inform you as early as possible.

7. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. It should cover medical care, personal accidents, lost baggage, and trip cancellations. Morocco Desert Friends is not responsible for expenses resulting from incidents not directly caused by us.

8. Health & Safety

You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and mentally able to participate in the booked activities. Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or mobility concerns before booking.

9. Responsibility & Liability

We act as an intermediary between you and hotels, drivers, guides, camps, and other suppliers. While we carefully select partners, we are not responsible for acts or omissions of third-party providers.

We are not liable for:

  • Loss or damage of personal belongings.
  • Delays, cancellations, or changes caused by weather, strikes, political events, or force majeure.
  • Expenses resulting from missing documents, visas, or incorrect travel information.

10. Travel Documents & Requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport, visas, and travel documents are valid. Some nationalities require a visa to enter Morocco. Please check requirements before booking.

11. Special Requests

We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, room preferences, or special celebrations. However, we cannot guarantee that all requests can be fulfilled by suppliers.

12. Complaints

If a problem arises during your trip, please notify us immediately so we can resolve it quickly. Complaints made after the tour without prior notice may be harder to address.

13. Use of Photos & Media

We may use photos taken during tours for promotional use unless you inform us in writing that you prefer not to appear in any material.

14. Privacy Policy

All personal data you provide will be used solely for booking and travel arrangements. We never sell or share your information with unauthorized third parties.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Morocco. Any disputes shall be handled by Moroccan courts.

16. Contact Information

For questions regarding these Terms & Conditions, please contact us at any time. We are here to assist you with clarity and transparency.
